About The Hope Center in Plano, Texas
The Hope Center, a vision of June Hunt, founder of Hope for the Heart, is a one-of-a-kind 501(c)(3) Christian nonprofit. The 185,000 square foot center fosters collaboration among its 40+ Christian nonprofits with one common goal: to share Christ in North Texas and around the world.
“The Hope Center campus is designed to foster a relationship between independent Christian ministries so they can work together to share the love of Christ and better meet the needs of people,” said June Hunt in a press release. “Having multiple ministries under one roof will develop better synergy, greater stewardship and wider global outreach among these biblically based ministries.”
Some of the best-known organizations in Dallas’ faith-based world have come together at the center, including I Am Second, East-West Ministries, Probe Ministries, Liberty Institute, Josh McDowell Ministry, e3Partners Ministry, and Marketplace Chaplains USA.
The Hope Center provides significantly reduced rent in a servant-minded culture, resulting in a partnership that pours over $2 million back into the mission field annually. The center also offers a variety of event rooms, which serve not only its 40+ tenant nonprofits but also countless other Christian organizations outside of The Hope Center.
“Because of the nation’s challenging economy, it was the perfect time for 41 Hope Center ministries to band together,” June said in a D Magazine article.
The large retreat lodge-like campus includes an atrium, Bible museum, cafe bookstore, broadcast studios, call center, and postal center for the tenants. In addition, the conference rooms, integrated telephone system, fulfillment center and offices will be designed to minimize costs as well as maximize cooperation.
The Hope Center is located off Custer Road, near the George Bush turnpike at 2001 W. Plano Parkway in Plano, Texas.
