Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That’s how the light gets in.

How I can help

Life can be hard. Are you interested in exploring how to live a more fulfilling life?

We can work together towards cultivating joy, and peace– even when things are difficult.   Life can feel like you are  at the crossroads–and you are not sure which way to go. Which way is your way towards healing and self-compassion? Which way is often not clear, life is full of transitions and change.

It can feel overwhelming.

I will help support you so that you will find your way back to center.

Effective therapy contributes to an increased sense of freedom and choice, whether that means changing habits, or perspective, or both. Sometimes, change in therapy is so inspiring that your life can change in big ways, making new choices. Other times, change can happen more subtly and gently– over time.

Change happens when you are ready….if you feel a  longing to shift things in your life around– so that you feel more alive and less stagnant…then this is the time to make a change! Whether for yourself, or your loved one.

My clinical experience has given me varied opportunities to work with a wide range of clients  in various settings, including a community mental health clinics and PPS local schools. I have supervised a child and family team at Morrison Child and Family services   and supervised many Graduate level interns towards earning their Master’s degree’s in Portland, Oregon.

In addition to other areas, I have extensive experience and interest in:

Mood
Including depression, anxiety and  anger

Trauma
Both developmental traumas and also major events

Relationship Issues

Individual patterns as well as couple and family dynamics

Life Transitions
Such as leaving home for college, coming out, getting married or divorced, parenting, and other significant life changes

Personal Growth
Becoming more aware of, able to grow into, and free to express your true self

My Approach

I love what I do . I strive to create a warm, safe, an open therapeutic environment that allows my clients  to feel their true self in safe place which encourages freedom to express, reflect and transform inner struggles with support, empathy and humor.

I typically take an  collaborative approach to therapy, but am also sensitive and intuitive and will deeply listen to your  needs and natural flow of your pace.

There is no pressure to be anything but yourself!   I’ve spent  21  years  learning and growing in my  professional experiences to enhance my clinical wisdom on  variety of treatment approaches in order to better serve the clients with whom I work.

My approach is based on you, with deep respect and honor of your path—I will help shine the light on places that may scare you, challenge you….or that need attention!
